勿謬用神的言語 (耶二十三)中英bilingual

「耶和華的默示」你們不可再提，各人所說的話必作自己的重擔（重擔和默示原文同），因為你們謬用永生神、萬軍之耶和華我們神的言語。 (耶 23：36) 

本章內容有兩部分，第1-8節論到神將興起公義的苗裔，因為當時的領袖未能遵行神的誡命，敬拜巴力，沒有善盡職責牧養神的羊群，神說他要招聚散落到各地的餘民歸回本圈，從大衛家中興起一個公義的苗裔，重新立一個合祂心意的好牧人，牧養他們；第9-40節講述說謊言的先知及對假先知的審判，因為從第24章以後，耶利米先知要發出一個預言，那就是以色列民要被擄70年，臣服於巴比倫王的手下，要百姓趕快悔改。但在此同時，有一批跟耶利米先知唱反調的假先知，總是講一些人愛聽的話，跟百姓傳說沒有這回事，不傳警告卻傳一些虛假的平安。神譴責那些未盡看顧之責，反而讓百姓四散的領袖與假先知。 

他們常對藐視我的人說：「耶和華說：你們必享平安」；又對一切按自己頑梗之心而行的人說：「必沒有災禍臨到你們」。(耶 23：17 ) 

16節提到，說謊言的先知以虛空的言語教訓人，所說的異象是出於自己的心，而不是出於神的口。第17節更說到，說謊言的先知會假藉神的名對藐視神的人說，你們必享平安，也會對一些任憑己意頑梗而行的人說，必不會有災禍臨到你們。讀到這兩節，給自己很大的警惕，有時我們面對慕道朋友或弟兄姊妹，因為客套或為了安慰，就順著人心順著人意說話，謬用神的言語，總是說一些討人喜歡的話，而未能照著神的教訓適時、適地對人說出造就及勸勉的言語。 

箴言30章第6節：「他的言語，你不可加添，恐怕他責備你，你就顯為說謊言的。」我們對神的言語不可加添，保羅在使徒行傳第20章第28節告訴我們，聖靈立我們作全群的監督，我們就當為自己謹慎，也應當為全群謹慎，牧養神的教會，因為教會是神用自己血所買來的。我們每個人都有牧養的責任，我們應當留心要按著神的話語，對教會的狀況或對面臨不同境況的弟兄姊妹，說出安慰、造就及勸勉的話語。尤其我們要認清，真正的大牧者是天上的真神，我們要謹慎禱告，回到神面前求神親自牧養我們！

耶和華說：我的話豈不像火，又像能打碎磐石的大錘嗎？(耶 23：29) 

神的話語不只是會安慰我們軟弱的心靈，祂的話語更是像火又像大錘，滿有力量，如光照亮我們的罪、擊碎我們的剛硬與虛假，拆毀我們的驕傲、催促我們悔改、煉淨我們的雜質，讓我們因神的話語被提醒、被責備、被修正，更靠著聖靈的幫助，讓我們的生命有了改變。當我們因著神的話被提醒、被責備、被修正，是很扎心的是會痛的，這是神塑造我們生命的一個過程。我們要能因神的話看見自己需要改變的地方，接受大錘擊碎自己的堅持，順服下來，神將煉淨我們並重新建立我們的生命。神召耶利米時說 :「看哪，我今日立你在列邦列國之上，為要施行拔出、拆毀、毀壞、傾覆，又要建立、栽植」(耶 1：10)，神塑造我們的生命，拿掉我們的舊人，更要為我們建立新的生命。我們受洗接受這份信仰之後，更要能體驗神的話語如光照我們、如大錘煉淨我們的歷程，穿上新衣，方得見主面！ 

神的言語句句都是煉淨的；投靠他的，他便作他們的盾牌。他的言語，你不可加添，恐怕他責備你，你就顯為說謊言的。(箴 30：5-6 )

Do Not Pervert the Words of God (Jeremiah 23)

"But as for 'the oracle of the LORD,' you shall no longer mention it, for every person's own word will become the oracle, since you have perverted the words of the living God, the LORD of armies, our God." (Jeremiah 23:36, NASB 2020)

This chapter can be divided into two parts. Verses 1–8 speak about God raising up a righteous Branch. At that time, the leaders had failed to keep God's commandments. They worshiped Baal and neglected their responsibility to shepherd God's flock. Therefore, God declared that He would gather the remnant scattered among the nations and bring them back to their own pasture. He would raise up a righteous Branch from the house of David and establish a shepherd after His own heart to care for them. Verses 9–40 describe the false prophets and God's judgment upon them. Beginning in chapter 24, Jeremiah would proclaim God's prophecy that the people of Israel would be taken into exile for seventy years and be subject to the king of Babylon. The people were urged to repent without delay. Yet at the same time, a group of false prophets opposed Jeremiah. They always spoke the words people wanted to hear, telling them that no such judgment would come. Instead of sending God's warning, they preached a false message of peace. God condemned both the leaders who failed to care for His flock and the false prophets who caused His people to be scattered.

"They keep saying to those who despise Me, 'The LORD has said, "You will have peace";' and as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, they say, 'Disaster will not come upon you.'" (Jeremiah 23:17, NASB 2020)

Verse 16 tells us that the false prophets taught empty and worthless words. The visions they proclaimed came from their own minds rather than from the mouth of the LORD. Verse 17 further says that they falsely claimed to speak in God's name, assuring those who despised Him that they would enjoy peace, and telling those who stubbornly followed their own desires that no disaster would come upon. These verses are a serious warning to me. Sometimes, when we face true seekers or to brothers and sisters, we may speak according to people's wishes out of politeness or a desire to comfort them. We may prevert God's words by saying only what people like to hear, instead of speaking words of encouragement, correction, and edification according to God's teaching at the right time and in the right way.

Proverbs 30:6 says, "Do not add to His words, Or He will rebuke you, and you will be proved a liar." (NASB 2020) We must never add to God's words. In Acts 20:28, Paul reminds us that the Holy Spirit has appointed us as overseers to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood. Therefore, we must be on guard for ourselves and for all the flock.

Every one of us has a responsibility to care for God's people. We should speak according to God's Word, offering comfort, encouragement, correction, and edification to the church and to brothers and sisters facing different situations. Especially, we must recognize that the true Chief Shepherd is the Lord Himself. We should pray carefully and return to God, asking Him to shepherd us personally.

"Is My word not like fire?" declares the LORD, "and like a hammer which shatters a rock?" (Jeremiah 23:29, NASB 2020)

God's Word not only comforts our weak hearts, but it is also like fire and like a mighty hammer, full of power. His Word like the light enlightening our sins, shatters our hardness and falsehood, tears down our pride, urges us to repent, and refines away our impurities. Through His Word we are reminded, rebuked, corrected, and, by the help of the Holy Spirit, our lives are transformed.

When God's Word reminds, rebukes, and corrects us, it pierces our hearts and can be painful. Yet this is part of God's work of shaping our lives. We must allow His Word to reveal the areas where we need to change, accept the blows of His hammer that break our stubbornness, and willingly submit to Him. Then God will purify us and rebuild our lives.

When God called Jeremiah, He said:

"See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, To uproot and to tear down, To destroy and to overthrow, To build and to plant." (Jeremiah 1:10, NASB 2020)

God shapes our lives by removing the old self and building within us a new life. After we have been baptized and received this precious faith, we should continue to experience how God's Word shines upon us like light and refines us like a mighty hammer. Put on the new garments, and will be prepared to meet the Lord.

"Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words, Or He will rebuke you, and you will be proved a liar." (Proverbs 30:5–6, NASB 2020)
