忠於真理，不畏逼迫（耶二十六）中英bilingual

耶利米書26章記載，神差遣先知耶利米在聖殿向百姓宣告警告，勸勉他們離開惡道，遵行神的律法。神並非急於施行刑罰，而是給予百姓悔改的機會，只要百姓願意回轉，神就必收回所宣告的災禍。由此可見，神的公義是帶著慈愛，祂始終盼望人能悔改歸向祂，重新行在祂的旨意中。 

猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬登基的時候，有這話從耶和華臨到耶利米說：耶和華如此說：你站在耶和華殿的院內，對猶大眾城邑的人，就是到耶和華殿來禮拜的說我所吩咐你的一切話，一字不可刪減。（耶 26：1-2） 

「一字都不可刪減」這不單單只是耶和華對耶利米的要求與吩咐，更讓我們現今的每位弟兄姊妹可以更進一步的反思，今天無論是傳福音、分享聖經、宗教教育的帶領，或是在生活中見證信仰，都應當忠於神的真理，而不是迎合人的想法或世俗的價值觀。

聖經教導我們，要固守真道的奧秘，持守純正的道理，按著正意分解真理的道，不增添，也不刪減神的話語，依照聖經完整的闡明神的救恩。 就像耶利米忠心遵行神的託付，即使知道所傳的警告可能帶來反對與危險，但他仍然沒有因人的威脅而退縮，也沒有增減神所交付的話語。 

耶利米就對眾首領，和眾民說：耶和華差遣我預言，攻擊這殿和這城，說你們所聽見的這一切話。現在要改正你們的行動作為，聽從耶和華你們神的話，他就必後悔，不將所說的災禍降與你們。（耶 26：12-13） 

神差耶利米宣告審判，並不是因為神喜歡刑罰人，而是希望百姓能夠回轉歸向祂，只要百姓願意反省悔改自己的行為，重新順服神的話語，神就願意收回將要降下的災禍。就像 以賽亞書55章7節「惡人當離棄自己的道路，不義的人當除掉自己的意念，歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐恤他，當歸向我們的神，因為神必廣行赦免」 真神的公義與慈愛是並行的，神固然是公義的審判者，但也是滿有慈愛憐憫的父。每一次神藉著台上的講道、聖靈的感動、聖經的話語提醒著我們，都是神給我們悔改的機會。我們只要願意謙卑順服，常存敬畏的心，珍惜每一次神給予的機會，在聖靈裡不斷地更新，追求完全，將來就能坦然無懼站立在主耶穌基督的面前，得著祂所應許的永生。 

本章的總結： 

一、神的話ㄧ句都不能刪減或增加，要忠心的傳講聖經的真理，面對環境的困苦、人情壓力或價值觀衝突的時候，我們更應倚靠聖靈的能力，勇敢見證所信的福音，持守住所領受的純正真理，不因人的眼光而退後。 

二、神的警告是出於慈愛，每一次神的提醒，都是希望我們能悔改並且回轉歸向神，謙卑順服神的教導，時常省察自己能夠在生活中實踐神的話語。 

耶和華喜悅燔祭和平安祭，豈如喜悅人聽從他的話呢？聽命勝於獻祭，順從勝於公羊的脂油。（撒上 15：22）

Faithful to the Truth, Unafraid of Persecution

(Jeremiah 26）

Jeremiah 26 records how God sent the prophet Jeremiah to the temple to proclaim a warning to the people, urging them to turn from their evil ways and walk according to His Law. God was not eager to punish them; instead, He gave them an opportunity to repent. If the people were willing to turn back, God would relent of the disaster He had pronounced against them. From this, we see that God’s justice is accompanied by lovingkindness. He always desires that people repent, return to Him, and once again walk according to His will.

In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came from the LORD, saying, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Stand in the courtyard of the LORD’S house, and speak to all the cities of Judah who have come to worship in the LORD’S house all the words that I have commanded you to speak to them. Do not omit a word!’” (Jeremiah 26:1–2)

“Do not omit a word” was not merely a command and requirement given by God to Jeremiah. It also points every brother and sister today to reflect more deeply. Whether we are preaching the gospel, sharing the Bible, teaching religious education, or bearing witness to our faith through our daily lives, we must remain faithful to God’s truth rather than conforming to human opinions or worldly values.

The Bible teaches us to hold firmly to the mystery of the faith, retain sound doctrine, and accurately handle the word of truth. We must neither add to nor take away from God’s word, but faithfully explain His salvation in its fullness according to the Bible. Jeremiah faithfully carried out the commission entrusted to him by God. Even though he knew that the warning he proclaimed might bring opposition and danger, he did not retreat in the face of human threats, nor did he alter the message God had given him.

Then Jeremiah spoke to all the officials and to all the people, saying, “The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard. Now then, reform your ways and your deeds and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will relent of the disaster which He has pronounced against you.” (Jeremiah 26:12–13)

God sent Jeremiah to proclaim judgment not because He delights in punishing people, but because He desired that they turn back to Him. As long as the people were willing to examine themselves, repent of their deeds, and submit once again to God’s word, He was willing to relent of the disaster that was about to come upon them. As Isaiah 55:7 says: “Let the wicked abandon his way, and the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon" The true God’s justice and lovingkindness go hand in hand. He is indeed a righteous Judge, but He is also a Father who abounds in compassion and mercy. Every time God reminds us through a sermon, the prompting of the Holy Spirit, or the words of the Bible, He is giving us an opportunity to repent. As long as we are willing to humble ourselves and obey, always maintaining a reverent heart and treasuring every opportunity God gives us, we can continually be renewed in the Holy Spirit and pursue spiritual perfection. Then, when the Lord Jesus Christ returns, we will be able to stand before Him with confidence and receive the eternal life He has promised.

Summary of This Chapter

1.Not a single word of God may be omitted or added. We must faithfully proclaim the truth of the Bible. When facing difficult circumstances, pressure from others, or conflicts with worldly values, we should rely even more upon the power of the Holy Spirit. We must courageously bear witness to the gospel we believe, hold firmly to the sound truth we have received, and not shrink back because of how others may view us.

2.God’s warnings arise from His love. Every reminder from God is intended to lead us to repent and return to Him. Therefore, we should humbly submit to His teachings, continually examine ourselves, and put His word into practice in our daily lives.

“Does the LORD have as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than a sacrifice, and to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.” (1 Samuel 15:22)
