結局到了，結局到了地的四境！ (結七）中英bilingual

現在你的結局已經臨到，我必使我的怒氣歸與你，也必按你的行為審判你，照你一切可憎的事刑罰你。我眼必不顧惜你，也不可憐你，卻要按你所行的報應你，照你中間可憎的事刑罰你。你就知道我是耶和華。(結 7：3-4) 

以色列選民的罪是甚麼，竟然惹怒神如此大的怒氣？ 

原來，當選民進入迦南後，雖然知道是耶和華拯救他們出埃及，但選民受當地迦南人拜神方式的影響，如廟妓、丘壇獻祭、使兒女經火…等，開始將對巴力的敬拜方式，帶進對耶和華神的敬拜中。他們去聖殿向耶和華獻祭，心裡卻相信真正帶來風調雨順、農產豐收、牛羊繁殖的是偶像巴力，將巴力當成耶和華真神，來拜祂。 

摩西早就告誡以色列百姓：你們不可照他們這樣事奉耶和華你們的神。以利亞先知在迦密山上也問以色列百姓：你們心持兩意要到幾時呢？若耶和華是神，就當順從耶和華；若巴力是神，就當順從巴力。耶和華賜給選民是流奶與蜜的迦南美地，選民卻把耶和華所賜的豐收，拿去供奉巴力，甚至殘殺他們的兒女獻給摩洛，這才惹動了神公義的烈怒，最終導致了「結局到了」。 

耶和華神要以色列選民順服神、守誡命、追求聖潔與公義、照顧孤兒寡婦，從以前到現在都沒改變。但選民卻只追求物質與情慾，認為給巴力祭物，巴力就給豐收（對價關係）；要巴力的物質豐富，又要耶和華的拯救（事奉神又事奉瑪門）；為討好巴力可以放縱情慾（如行淫）；為了個人利益討好神明，不惜將自己的親生兒女丟入火中獻祭。 

反觀我們自己，讀經、禱告、聚會、做聖工與奉獻，為的目的是甚麼？是與神交換個人的事業、財富、名利嗎？當然不行，我們應該藉由神的話語潔淨自己，謙卑、存感恩的心來事奉，不追求世上的功名成就，只追求神的聖潔、公義與憐憫。 

這些事都已聽見了，總意就是：敬畏神，謹守他的誡命，這是人所當盡的本分（或作：這是眾人的本分）。因為人所做的事，連一切隱藏的事，無論是善是惡，神都必審問。(傳 12：13-14)

The End Has Come, the End Has Come upon the Four Corners of the Land!(Ezekiel 7)

“Now the end is upon you, and I will send My anger against you; I will judge you according to your ways and bring all your abominations upon you. For My eye will have no pity on you, nor will I spare you, but I will bring your ways upon you, and your abominations will be among you; then you will know that I am the LORD!” (Ezekiel 7:3–4, NASB 2020)

What sins did God’s chosen people, Israel, commit that made God so angry?

After God’s chosen people entered Canaan, they knew that the LORD had saved them from Egypt. But they were influenced by the Canaanites and their ways of worship, such as temple prostitution, sacrifices at the high places, and making their children pass through fire. They began to bring the ways of Baal worship into their worship of the LORD. They went to the temple and offered sacrifices to the LORD, but in their hearts they believed that Baal was the one who gave good weather, rich harvests, and many cattle and sheep. They treated Baal as if he were the LORD, the true God, and worshiped him.

Moses had already warned the Israelites: “You shall not behave this way toward the LORD your God.” Elijah also asked the Israelites on Mount Carmel, “How long are you going to struggle with the two choices? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” The LORD gave His people the good land of Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey. But they took the harvest that the LORD had given them and offered it to Baal. They even killed their own children and sacrificed them to Molech. This brought God’s righteous and fierce anger upon them, and finally, “the end has come.”

The LORD God wanted His chosen people, Israel, to obey Him, keep His commandments, pursue holiness and righteousness, and care for orphans and widows. This has never changed. But the chosen people only pursued material things and sinful desires. They thought that if they gave offerings to Baal, Baal would give them a good harvest. It became an exchange. They wanted material blessings from Baal but also wanted salvation from the LORD. They wanted to serve both God and wealth. To please Baal, they gave themselves to sinful desires, such as sexual immorality. To please their gods and gain personal benefits, they were even willing to throw their own children into the fire as sacrifices.

Now let us look at ourselves. Why do we read the Bible, pray, attend church services, serve God, and make offerings? Is it to exchange these things with God for our career, wealth, fame, and personal success? Of course not. We should let God’s word cleanse us. We should serve Him with humility and a thankful heart. We should not pursue worldly fame and success, but only pursue God’s holiness, righteousness, and mercy.

“The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14, NASB 2020)
